Polina Dobrotina is a painter and writer whose work bridges the seen and unseen. Based in Kent, she creates paintings infused with high-frequency energy imprints, designed not only to be viewed but to be experienced. Each canvas becomes a living field — a Tuning Chamber — where colour, form, and light-language weave together to awaken resonance within the viewer.
Her writing carries the same intention. Words arrive as currents, echoing the same frequencies as her brushstrokes, extending the invitation to step beyond the surface into a deeper dialogue with the self. Together, her book and her paintings form two threads of one practice: exploring how material and metaphysical intertwine, and how art can become a vessel for transformation.
Polina’s work resists traditional categorisation. It does not ask to be fitted into a frame but to be entered into — as one might enter a room, a silence, or a prayer. Through both image and word, she offers portals into presence, courage, and remembrance.
— “Art is not what I make,…it is what I open.”
